What tank capacity do you need?

An oversized tank is an expensive hole in the garden; an undersized one overflows in May and is empty by August. Here is the calculation that gives you the figure before you call anyone.

Plastic, concrete, or self-supporting?

The difference in budget between a self-supporting tank and one designed for concreting can be as much as 25,000 Kč. This is not determined by your preference, but by what lies beneath the garden.

What is the total cost

The tank price shown in the e-shop is the lowest figure for the entire order. Here is what gets added to it, and why two seemingly identical gardens can differ by fifty thousand Kč.

Septic tank, septic system, or retention tank?

Do jímky teče odpad, do retenční nádrže dešťovka. Vypadá to samozřejmě, dokud vám někdo nenabídne „jímku na dešťovku" a vy nevíte, jestli je to totéž.

Where to direct the overflow: soakaway or sewer?

The tank fills up within a few hours during heavy rain. The overflow must have somewhere to drain; otherwise, the water will find its way to the house foundations.
